Why You’ll Love This Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

- Extra peanut buttery flavor!
- Creamy and soft
- Only 4 ingredients
- SO easy, 10-minute microwave recipe
- Beloved by family and friends for YEARS and YEARS!
Ingredients

- Smooth peanut butter – regular, smooth peanut butter is the best option for making this fudge! Stay away from natural peanut butter.
- Confectioner’s sugar – confectioner’s sugar (AKA powdered sugar) is the base for fudge! I use less confectioner’s sugar than most peanut butter fudge recipes. You end up with a rich peanut buttery taste and soft, creamy fudge.
- Salted butter – I use salted butter so you don’t need to add salt too. You can add in ½ teaspoon salt if you’re using unsalted butter.
- Vanilla extract – vanilla extract adds flavor.

Thanks Georgia!! I agree!
This fudge tastes amazing!!! But for some reason, mine never set up despite following the directions. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks!
Hi Michelle,
Ahh that’s so odd! I’m trying to think why this could be. Honestly the only thing I can think of is if your PB was oily (like a natural peanut butter) or if all ingredients were mixed at once? To fix, it’s difficult to say (how liquidy is it?). If it’s close to set but not quite there, I recommend keeping it in the fridge for an hour or 2 longer, or even try popping in the freezer for a bit! Otherwise, it might be better to start over with a different PB (like a standard Jif). Feel free to send me a pic to my email TastefullyGrace@gmail.com and I can try to help troubleshoot!
Grace
Thanks for your response! I did you JIF peanut butter, but it was a tad more oily than normal, so that probably is why! The consistency was similar to a really soft putty, like I could cut it at all, just scoop it with a spoon. Luckily, setting it in the freezer did firm it right up. It’s absolutely delicious!
Thanks again!
Michelle
Hi Michelle,

Haaa thought you might be interested in hearing I recently had to take over 90% of the household chores since my wife had her stroke. one of the things I’ve found fun is cooking for us. Bought rather nasty peanut butter4 we didn’t like but instead of throwing it out decided to try and make fudge. Haaa found this recipe which was right up my alley as I don’t like long difficult preparation ones. I have made 3 batches of this and each time I’ve played with the recipe a little just checking out different spices. A little nutmeg in one and this one today a little pumpkin pie spice. Oh my goodness!! I share with my neighbors as they help me out a lot. So when I’m making things I always make an extra for them. Shepards pie, meat loaf things like that.
All that to say thanks for the easy but wonderful recipe!!!
Hi Tom,
