Makes: 1 pumpkin spice latte

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

The Ingredients

1 ½ cups water

3 tablespoons coffee grounds

½ tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

1/4 tablespoon maple syrup

¼ cup heavy whipping cream

More pumpkin pie spice, to garnish

(To make own pumpkin pie spice if you can’t buy it pre-made: 2 tbs cinnamon, 1 tsp allspice, 1 tsp ground cloves, 1 tsp ground nutmeg mixed together)

The Steps

If you’d like to make a large quantity of spiced coffee to save, mix together 1 ½ cups coffee grounds with 4 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice.

You can also make a large batch of cream and save it in the fridge for up to three days!

For spiced coffee: In a coffee machine as if you were going to brew a cup of coffee, add coffee grounds and pumpkin pie spice to the filter. Use a spoon to mix together grounds and spice until well-combined. Add water to water tank. Brew coffee.

For cream: While coffee is brewing, use a stand mixer or hand mixer to lightly whip the cream and maple syrup until cream forms soft, loose peaks, about 3-4 minutes on medium speed.

Pour coffee into your favorite mug and top with cream and more pumpkin pie spice. Use a spoon to mix together coffee and cream, or leave the cream resting on the top of the spiced coffee!
