This quick and easy sautéed broccolini side dish is loaded with flavor! Al dente broccolini tossed into sizzling garlic oil, a pinch of red pepper flakes, and a sprinkle of salt will become your go-to veggie side dish.
2bunchesbroccoliniabout an inch of the stems cut off
2large garlic clovesthinly sliced
3tablespoonsextra virgin olive oil
1/6teaspoonsalt
Hot pepper flakesto taste
Instructions
Add about a cup of water to the bottom of a medium pot. Add broccolini, cover, and let steam for 4-5 minutes until the broccolini turns bright green, al dente and has a bit of “give” when poked with a fork.
Remove broccolini from the pot with tongs, shaking off excess water (a little leftover water is okay!). Place broccolini in a separate bowl.
Dump out water from your pot and add olive oil, garlic, salt, and hot pepper flakes to taste. Heat garlic for 2 minutes over medium-low heat.
Add broccolini, using tongs to toss in garlic oil. Serve.

Keep in the refrigerator for up to a week, heating over medium-low heat in a pot for 5 minutes, or covered in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.
