There’s only one way to enjoy ricotta toast: it’s with hot honey, pistachios and fresh thyme! The perfect ricotta appetizer that’s so easy to make even though they look fancy!
8slicesof crusty breadtorn into roughly 4-inch pieces
1cupwhole milk or part-skim ricotta cheese
¼cupsalted pistachios
2tablespoonshoney
2teaspoonsharissa paste
8sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions
Mix together honey and harissa paste in a small bowl.
Place pistachios in a Ziploc bag and use the bottom of a water glass to crush nuts into a rough chop.
Toast your bread in the toaster or under the broiler in the oven.
Spread each piece of toast with a generous amount of ricotta. Use a spoon to drizzle each piece with desired amount of hot honey. Sprinkle with crushed pistachios, fresh thyme, and a dash of salt.
Serve while the toast is still crispy as an appetizer, light lunch or dinner!
