Dad’s Peanut Sauce Recipe
Dad’s peanut sauce is “family famous,” renowned by everyone who tries it! As a dipping sauce for veggies or spring rolls, mixed into noodles or stir fries, or just with a spoon, this peanut sauce is famous for a reason.

Ingredients

cup
smooth peanut butter
½
medium red onion

hoisin sauce

cup
soy sauce
¼

ketchup

sesame oil

rice wine vinegar

large garlic clove
peeled

tablespoon
fresh ginger
peeled and chopped

teaspoon
cayenne pepper

Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, scrapping down the sides of the blender as needed.
I like to serve peanut sauce at room temperature. You can also microwave it gently (in increments of 20 seconds) until warm, or even serve it chilled!

Notes
If you like your peanut sauce chunky,
add a handful of peanuts to the peanut sauce after it’s blended together.
Add a splash of coconut milk or coconut cream
if you like a looser peanut sauce, or one that has coconut undertones!
