You can eat a pie and not think twice. Yup, I said it. This individual “pie in a glass” is so elegant, absolutely divine, and totally indulgent without making a whole pie.
For everyone out there who loves whipped cream, chocolate, and Oreos, you’ve found your heaven. Creamy homemade whipped cream and chocolate ganache intertwine with Oreo crumbles. You’re crazy if you’re not salivating.
This recipe is so, so easy, and everything is homemade (minus the Oreos)!
Makes: 4 cream pie glasses
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 0 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
1 cup heavy cream, at room temp
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
Oreo cookie pie crust (usually can find in the baking section of the grocery store) OR crumble up some oreos!
Whip 1/2 cup heavy cream and powdered sugar in a mixer or with a hand mixer until cream forms stiff peaks, about 2 minutes.
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave for about 90 seconds, stirring after 60 seconds. Add 1/2 cup of cream to chocolate and stir until combined.
In a champagne glass or small skinny glass of sorts, create a layer of crumbled Oreo cookie pie crust. Add a layer of ganache. Add a layer of whipped cream. Top with more Oreo and a drizzle of ganache. Serve immediately. Add some coffee or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
